What is the issue being addressed?

To meet the Government's 2050 target of an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions, electricity use will increase and more will be produced from renewable sources. This will impact how we deliver electricity to homes and businesses, and to achieve this in an affordable way will require innovative new solutions.
