Electricity is one of those everyday things that we all take for granted, but how many of us think about the impact our power-hungry lifestyles are having on the thousands of miles of cables and wires that keep our homes and businesses energised? Thames Valley Vision is a £30 million, locally-based project led by Southern Electric Power Distribution (SEPD), the company which owns and maintains the local electricity network, with the aim of finding out more about how we all use electricity, so they can adapt the network to work best in the modern age.

‘Your Energy Matters’ is Thames Valley Vision’s exciting new pop-up advice centre, offering energy-saving tips and information to the local communities, and opens in Bracknell’s Charles Square on 15 December, with Jennie McCracken, Bracknell Forest Council Mayor cutting the ribbon to kickstart activities at 12 noon.
